Quantifi Photonics is excited to become part of Teradyne Inc., a global leader in automated test equipment and robotics systems.
This significant milestone will enable the companies to deliver scalable photonic integrated circuit (PIC) test solutions designed to meet the fast-growing demand from photonics manufacturers.
PIC technology leverages wafer-based manufacturing, multi-die integration, and advanced packaging with high-speed I/O interfaces to support the rapidly evolving high-performance compute market and its AI workloads.
Major technology companies are investing heavily in integrated photonics within data center architectures to boost bandwidth, reduce power consumption, and address the increasing demands of AI training and inference.
Iannick Monfils, President of Quantifi Photonics, said: “As part of the Teradyne family, Quantifi Photonics is accelerating its mission to transform photonics test and measurement for high-volume manufacturing. Together, Teradyne and Quantifi Photonics will deliver market-leading, integrated test solutions that combine Teradyne’s semiconductor ATE leadership with our deep expertise in photonics. As the integrated photonics market enters a new phase of rapid growth, we will help customers scale faster and more efficiently than ever before.”
“This significant milestone marks the beginning of a new era in photonics test and measurement,” said Regan Mills, President of the Product Test Group at Teradyne. “We’re excited to have Quantifi Photonics as part of the Teradyne family and look forward to leveraging their innovative technology and deep expertise in photonics to deliver high volume, opto-electrical ATE solutions to our customers.”
Quantifi Photonics will operate as an independent business unit, continuing to deliver sales and support for both new and existing customers across its full range of products.
The company is hiring key roles in engineering, sales, marketing and operations to accelerate product development, support its growing customer base, and meet the increasing market demand for its test solutions, including the QCA High-Speed Communication Analyzer, which is designed for high-speed I/O optical and electrical test applications.
