Quantifi Photonics is pleased to welcome Mark Morrissey to the team as Senior Field Applications Engineer, where he will contribute his extensive experience in optical and semiconductor test development to advance our next-generation photonics test solutions.
Mark joins Quantifi Photonics with a strong background in wafer-level test development for high-speed datacom VCSEL products. Over his career, he has designed and implemented test systems for LIV, optical spectrum analysis (OSA), relative intensity noise (RIN), and S21 measurements — with a strong focus on test-time reduction and system optimization.
His previous roles include Test Development Engineer positions at Finisar, Avago Technologies (Broadcom), and Lumentum, where he played a key role in advancing production and characterization processes for leading-edge optoelectronic components.
Mark brings deep expertise in software development using C#, T-SQL, LabVIEW, and TestStand, enabling robust automation and data analysis for high-volume manufacturing environments. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Optical Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.
